The Shock Mod is a weapon mod featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. When used at a Workbench, the mod adds light shock damage and an electrocution critical to most Bladed Weapons. The shock mod is relatively easy to get hold of after starting the game, being acquired still during Act I and is impossible to miss, due to being a Quest reward. The mod can be seen as the Nail'd Mod for
Defend until the tunnels are drained of water and the horde attack will end. Don't forget to grab the reward pistol from Trevor (especially if you are high level). Yes, Dead Island was an absolute smash hit, because everyone wants an open-world zombie survival game. Or wanted, at least. Hmm. Here's wot I think.
