Hi, I have a MacBook Air M1, upgraded to 11.2 (that was a nightmare in itself). I mostly run the Air closed with an external monitor, wireless Apple keyboard and magic mouse. About once a day I lose connection to the mouse and have to open the Air and select the mouse via the bluetooth menu.

Connect one external display to your MacBook Air with the M1 or M2 chip using either of the Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports. diagnose battery issues,

Apple’s latest response on the matter confirms that the Bluetooth connectivity issues users have been facing on their M1 Macs aren’t hardware related and are fixable via a software update. I had similar bluetooth issues on 2018 Mac mini. The problems were related to interference when using USB 3.0 (with both a Magic Mouse and Logitech). This time it seems different since obviously with the MacBook Air M1 I am not using USB 3.0 or any other wired connection so its not USB 3.0 interference related.
Got the M1 Mac Mini today and I’m having the same problem. I returned my M1 MacBook Air before because it had similar problems plus the screen was horrendously uncalibrated despite changing every possible setting. Apple need to fix a lot of the issues on the M1 line.

M1 MacBook Air continuously drops WiFi connection. I got a new M1 MacBook Air last week and it continuously drops the wifi connection. In my summer house I have a fiber connection and the MacBook Air drops both on 2.4 and 5 GHz as well as when I connect to a Netgear Orbi mesh network (with updated software). Every time I close the lid or leave

7. Reset your Mac’s Bluetooth module. You can try resetting your Mac’s Bluetooth module. Before we start, make sure that the Bluetooth status menu is visible in the menu bar. If not, on your Mac, go to System Preferences, click Bluetooth, then select the “Show Bluetooth in menu bar” option. Here is how:

Recent reports have come out via a Reddit forum where many Apple M1owners have detailed issues connecting peripherals via Bluetooth. Connecting to mice and keyboards have been a recurring CqZUA2s.
